My name is Isaac and I'm with HOB Fine Foods and we had the pleasure of catering the first event at WSMC venue. With the location in the downtown area of Langford surrounded by parking spaces not only above ground but underground as well. Our team was impressed with the WSMC venue's modern look and feel from the moment we walked in. You can tell it's going to be a great night! The venue is very spacious and can host a variety of events from meetings, birthday parties and weddings just to name a few. With its state of the art high quality kitchen facility made our job as the catering company very easy. The venue is equipped with an elevator to help both guests and vendors move up and down freely. Separate space away from the dance floor which could be used for photo booths or other activities during your event. WSMC has multiple bathrooms which are kept clean throughout the event along with other common areas being used.
Dj Paul who is in charge of booking events but also the in house DJ is a pleasure to work with. Being in the industry himself for years he understands what's needed for both vendors and guests to have an enjoyable experience. The entertainment and sound system top notch as Dj Paul provides the latest music in all genres but also keeps the crowd engaged with his personality.
The overall experience the HOB team had at WSMC was nothing less than great! I recommend anyone who's looking for a venue of this style which can be transformed into almost anything you desire for your event.

Venue was Great!!! Easy load in and out for our team, the back of house is very spacious providing lots of room for the food tables and buffet. Paul was wonderful to work with, very personable, friendly and easy going and he had the crowd engaged and laughing MCing the speeches for the event. Westshore Masonic Centre was so fresh it had that new car feel which was very nice, and everything was spotless and clean which for us makes life so much easier. Here is to many more events working together!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a Holiday party at WSMC, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, this venue provided everything needed for an incredible night of fun, relaxation, and entertainment.
Location and Accessibility: WSMC is ideally located in the heart of Langford, making it super easy to get to, whether you’re coming by car or public transport. There’s ample parking around the area, and the venue itself is situated in a lively neighborhood that made arriving feel exciting.
Ambiance and Atmosphere: As soon as you step inside, the venue hits you with its chic, modern vibe. The lighting was perfectly set to match the energetic atmosphere, with soft neon accents creating a party mood without feeling overbearing. The music also helped set the tone – not too loud but just enough to keep the energy flowing all night long.
Space and Layout: The venue is spacious, offering plenty of room for both those who want to dance and those who prefer to hang out and chat. There was a dedicated dance floor, surrounded by comfortable seating areas that allowed people to relax and catch up. The layout was very functional, and it didn’t feel cramped despite the large crowd.
Staff and Service: What really stood out was the service. HOB was exceptional – they was professional, friendly, and very efficient. The bartenders were quick, ensuring that no one had to wait too long for a drink. Plus, they had a great selection of cocktails and some fantastic signature drinks that really added to the experience.
Entertainment and Music: The DJ Paul DJPTK absolutely nailed the music selection, playing a great mix of current hits and crowd favorites. The dance floor was packed all night, and the vibe never dropped. Whether you’re into dancing or just enjoying good music, the entertainment here is top-notch. The sound system was also fantastic, providing clear, crisp audio without ever getting too loud.
Cleanliness and Comfort: Throughout the night, the venue was kept clean. The bathrooms were well-stocked and cleaned regularly, which is always a bonus at large events. The seating areas were comfortable, and there were enough spots for everyone to take a break when needed.
Overall Experience: All in all, WSMC was a fantastic venue for an after-party. The combination of a great location, excellent staff, and an energetic yet comfortable vibe made it a memorable event. I’ll definitely be keeping this place in mind for future events, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to throw or attend a high-energy gathering.

We recently had an event at the new WestShore Masonic Centre in Langford and it was a breath of fresh air to say the least. Each year we had to settle for what was out there for our annual Christmas Staff function, as most venues cost an arm and a leg or didn't have everything we needed.
With WestShore Masonic Hall we got it all and it fit in our budget and will be our Christmas Party home for the foreseeable future. The Hall is very modern, crisp white inside and easy to decorate for our function. The kitchen worked perfectly for heating up all our entrees and putting our salads and platters together, to be honest the kitchen is amazing and we all wished we had one similar.
The halls Event coordinator Paul was a pleasure to work with and was so easy going in the way he accommodate our requests, suggested a great caterer and decor lady and made sure none of our guests felt compelled to drive home as he let them park in the underground secured lot and came back the nest day for a allotted time to let guests recover their vehicles.
As a business owner in the Western Communities I am happy to have an option other than a hall or board room to rent for events, we are adding a Spring event to the calendar just to use this venue again.

As a vendor who organized the entire event, provided bar service, and attended as a guest, I can confidently say this venue exceeded all expectations.
Working with Paul was incredibly accommodating and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
The venue itself is bright, clean, and easily accessible for vendors and guests alike. The kitchen is every caterer’s dream, with all the amenities needed for seamless food prep and service.
The bar area was another highlight—spacious, spotless, and perfectly functional for our setup with The Bubble Bus Co. It made serving drinks a breeze and added to the overall charm of the event.
This event space offers incredible value and made for unforgettable gatherings. I highly recommend it to anyone planning their next event!

We recently catered a holiday party at the WSMC, and we were very pleased with the venue. The venue provided everything we might have needed and more.
The venue was open and bright with the option of dimmer switches to soften the lighting if preferred. It has a large kitchen with plenty of counter spaces to prep and station all the equipment that was needed. We found the kitchen to be ideal and a caterer's dream. The hallways are wide to accommodate any accessibilities and /or equipment. They also provide a wonderful trolley to transport everything from A to B.
Paul was wonderful to work with while giving great direction and support.
It would be our pleasure to be part of another celebration again at the WSMC.
